Face-Off - Casey Costello & NZ Women vs the Midwifery Council - Two Weeks To Back Your Winner! (Video Below).
The last week has been a joyous one for women all over the West, with the UK Supreme Court finally ruling in favour of For Women Scotland that a woman is an adult human female and a man is a man, and never the twain can swap.
And here at home, New Zealand First Member Casey Costello directed Health New Zealand to call us women instead of ‘pregnant people’. Biology and reality are back!
How long can the Midwifery Council hold out? We don’t know but we don't think they’re going to just roll over.
So with this new support from MP Casey Costello and in celebration of Women for Scotland's wonderful victory, Di Landy, Katrina Biggs, Deb Hayes and Sarah Henderson have done a video on everything Midwifery, and how to make your voice heard for women here in New Zealand too.
Di and MWK also invite you to join us for our third annual live 'Thank a Terf' Day, on Magdalen Berns' birthday on 6th of May, when we will be thanking all the Terfs in our lives and around the world making a difference, and remembering one of the founders of For Women Scotland, who was way ahead of her time.

Submissions close on the 5th of May, the day before Thank A Terf Day - so we’ve got two weeks to tell the Council "No" again - and finally, now we’ve got rulings we can use to back us up.
Let’s make it count here too wāhine, for us, for our babies, for Magdalen and FWS, and for wahine toa everywhere.
Noho Tūturu, Noho Tangata!
MWK.
